  2. WINDOWS USERS TAKE NOTE:

  4. This program will not run from Program Manager's
  5. RUN command line because this publication uses batch files.  
  6. You can get around this Windows limitation by doing this:
  7.  
  8. (Note: this procedure assumes that you have a VGA or better
  9. monotor; what we are doing is bypassing the VGA/monochrome
  10. selection made by the initial batch files.)
  11.  
  12. 1)
  13. Copy the files from this disk (OR uncompress the files, if
  14. your copy came in PKZIPed form) to a subdirectory on your
  15. hard disk called EPF18.
  16.  
  17. 2)
  18. At the RUN command line enter:
  19.   C:\EPF18\1 if you require information on running a DART-based
  20.              book, OR
  21.   C:\EPF18\2 which will activate the program at the bookmarked 
  22.              page.  (Copies shipped by Serendipity Systems will
  23.              have the bookmark set at the main menu (Index).  If
  24.              you find yourself started at some other location,
  25.              scroll down until you come to "EPF18-0"*.  Place the
  26.              cursor on the asterisk, then press the enter key.)

  28. Note: If your hard drive is something other than "C," the substitute
  29. that letter.
